(knowing God through faith)

We believe God’s Word, the Bible, is our authority in all things which encompass our faith and practice as believers. It is our guide to living a true and righteous Christian life. We cannot neglect to read and study it for herein is God’s will revealed. [Psalm 119] [Matthew 7:24-27] [Acts 17:11] [Romans 15:4] [2 Timothy 2:15] [2 Timothy 3:16, 17] [2 Peter 1:19]

We believe prayer is the command of God and the privilege of all born again believers. Prayer makes effectual an ongoing spirit of cooperation between God, ourselves and our fellow man. God’s promises regarding prayer are true. [Matthew 21: 21, 22] [John 6:24] [Philippians 4:6, 7] [Colossians 4:2] [Colossians 4:12] [1 Timothy 2:1-4] [1 Peter 4:7]

We believe Christian fellowship is essential if we are to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior. Each of us has a role within the body of Christ and to neglect fellowship is to deny others our gifts in service and lose the benefit of others gifted-ness toward us. Healthy spiritual growth is hindered when we fail to obey God amongst the assembling of the saints. [Romans 1:11, 12] [1 Corinthians 12:18-21] [Colossians 3:16] [Hebrews 10:24, 25] [1 Peter 4:10] [1 John 1:7]

We believe in the command of God to share our mutual faith with others in need. This sharing of the truth results from obedience to the beliefs above. We do not force decisions but rather attempt to persuade men of their need of Christ and allow God to do what only he can. [Mark 16:15, 16] [Acts 1:8] [Romans 1;8] [Romans 1:14, 15] [1 Corinthians 1:22-24] [2 Corinthians 4:5] [2 Timothy 4:2-5]

We believe in the necessity to make disciples and to send them out to preach the gospel and to establish the saints. Our desire is to grow in all aspects unto Him and to aid others in doing the same. [Matthew 28:19, 20] [Luke 6:40] [Colossians 1:28] [1 Thessalonians 4:1-7] [1 Timothy 4:16] [2 Timothy 2;2] [Hebrews 13:7]

We believe giving our God glory is our highest aspiration in life. We accomplish this by submitting ourselves to Him and to each other daily and as a result, learn to live by faith in all we say and do. To forget this is to deny our first love. [1 Chronicles 16:8-36] [Psalm 29:1-9] [Isaiah 43:1-7] [1 Corinthians 6:19, 20] [1 Corinthians 10:31]
